Instruction for Authors

Dear Authors,

You are welcome to submit papers on any of the symposium topics, prepared for SPSympo-2021 Symposium according to the following guidelines.
  • All papers must be written in English.
  • Submitted manuscript (in pdf format) should be camera ready and compliant with the general standards of the IEEE (IEEE templates Microsoft Word A4 or LaTeX).
  • Noncompliant manuscripts will not be considered for review.
  • Recommended length of extended abstract: 2 - 4 A4 pages, and full paper: 4 – 6 A4 pages.

SUBMIT PAPER

Prospective Authors are invited to submit an abstract of 4 pages maximum (including diagrams and illustrations). Your paper should be uploaded to the paper submission site for review by the TPC not later than 23:59 CET on 15th March 2021 23:59 CET on 22nd March 2021.

We recommend all Authors to use the standard IEEE conference proceedings A4 format template from http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html for review papers, as the same format is MANDATORY for the final paper.

Successful Authors will be invited to submit a full paper of 6 A4 pages maximum by 30 June 2021.

Please be advised that it is the IEEE policy to include papers in IEEE Xplore only when the Authors have attended the conference and presented their work.

THE SPSympo-2021 PUBLICATIONS

Conference content will be submitted for inclusion in the
IEEE Xplore® Digital Database.
Authors of selected papers will be asked to submit their extended works to:
International Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications, Archive of Acoustics, International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Technical Sciences.

Symposium Proceedings will also be available for participants in digital form.


SPECIAL ISSUE

Selected papers will be recommended for publication in the Special Issue on Smart Sensing Systems: Algorithms and Applications in Sensors MDPI Journal (IF 3.275)

The expanded and high-quality conference papers should be expanded to the size of a research article, with at least 50% new contents.

Special Issue "Recent Advances in Signal Processing and Radar for Remote Sensing—SPSympo 2021, IRS 2021"

This Special Issue aims to present the latest research results in the field of signal processing and radar techniques that are related to remote sensing, presented among others during the Signal Processing Symposium (SPSympo), Łódź, Poland, 2021, and the International Radar Symposium (IRS), Berlin, Germany 2021.
Contributions from leading experts in these fields of research will be collected and presented in this Special Issue.

YOUNG SCIENTIST CONTEST

The Young Scientist Contest will be organized as a part of SPSympo-2021. Approved for the SPSympo-2021 presentation, and entered into the competition papers will be evaluated in terms of scientific content and presentation quality.

The best works will be distinguished with the first, second, and third prize awards.

The enrolling in the Young Scientist Contest will take place after accepting the abstracts during full registration for the conference.

To be considered for submission for the Young Scientists Contest ALL following criteria should be fulfilled:
  • Candidate should be under 35 years old at the submission close. (His/her 35th birthday should be before June 30, 2019).
  • Candidate should be the first author of the paper and
  • He/she should present the paper by himself/herself.
  • The paper must be accepted for the Conference.
